Overview
Zebek is a company that enables its customers to deliver highly targeted and personalized mobile applications to their users. Our platform collects various kinds of data, including data that may be deemed personal, as it performs these tasks for our customers. Therefore privacy is very important to us.
Our philosophy on privacy is that the “customer is in control” – i.e., our customers and their users do not share any information with us or the platform that they would otherwise prefer not to or wouldn't sanction. Zebek does not rent, sell or exchange the information collected with any third-party entities. And Zebek ensures that all data collected is made anonymous through our encryption techniques and used only to support the personalized experiences our customers provide their audiences.
The objective of this document is to more formally outline Zebek's privacy policy, including full disclosure on how the platform collects, utilizes and stores data, and the steps we take to ensure its protection against unwarranted use. Zebek conforms to the MA 201 CMR 17.00: MGL c. 93H.
This Privacy Policy in no way limits or restricts our collection, use or disclosure of aggregate information.
Definitions
Consumer Information – This is personal identifiable information about an individual consumer. It may include an individual's first and last name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, credit card or other account number.
Data Collection – The pulling of information from various electronic sources.
Relevance Progressing – The establishing of associations between similar data sets and the consumer to predict preferences.
Data Matrix – The aggregation of information that is related or closely associated. This may include visited sites, reviews, comments, social media site postings, coupons and ad responses.
Content – Electronic information that is offered to an individual, such as advertising, promotional offers, coupons, and recommendations
Opt In Activity – An individual's deliberate action that constitutes immediate as well as on-going agreement to receive content.
Information Collection, Use and Protection
Collection
Zebek's platform collects user information on likes, preferences and tastes through user actions that are including but not limited to online reviews, social network comments, searches, and advertising and promotional engagement. This information is then organized by the platform and matched to the individual user.Information collected may include first and last name, an email address and password, mobile phone number or service provider, depending on customer and user preferences and the types of implementations enabled.
Information Use
The information collected is then used to initiate relevance processing which provides our customers the ability to better predict a user's future acceptance of content. This allows for delivery of content on a highly personalized basis.
Zebek retains collected information according to customer preferences in order to continuously enhance the relevance processing and personalized content delivery.
Purpose
The information collected is intended to be used for the purpose of providing personalized content delivery as determined by the Zebek's proprietary relevance algorithms and its customers. Zebek's platform and targeting products are made available to Zebek customers for this explicit use.
Data Protection
Zebek uses reasonable efforts to protect all information collected against unauthorized access and unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction. This includes encryption techniques that mask a user's identify. This means that unique identifiers are never exposed and are only used to match preferences.
Zebek does not rent, sell or exchange the information collected with any third party entities.
Zebek reserves the right to disclose or transfer collected information to its corporate affiliates or to an acquirer in connection with the sale or other transfer of the business or assets of Zebek.
Zebek is committed to protecting the privacy of all data. All data collected is stored in secure storage facilities.
Zebek can not be held legally liable for the compromise of consumer information that is outside of the company's sphere of control.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
Zebek may change this Privacy Policy at any time. The changes to this Privacy Policy will appear on this page. The changes will be tracked at the top of this page indicating the last change and the policy's effective date. We therefore encourage you to refer to this page on an ongoing basis so that you are aware of our current privacy policy.
